I hate the idea that they may have just killed the Jarome character. Thi kid owned the camera in every scene, & perfectly captured the essence of the Joker character.
I hope his "death" was part of Theo's plan & he comes back, because the idea that he just kick started the Joker in every lunatics mind & didn't go on to actually become THE Joker feels almost like a waste
I think some other kid wil be inspired by him, and become the real Joker
shareMy theory is that there will never be one Joker in the Gotham universe which is where the final moments of "The Last Laugh" episode everyone will have the Joker disease that spread all throughout the series to each character. Also in the magic show sequence of the same episode and the choice of music that was played almost reminisce Batman: The Animated Series because it was that good with Cameron Monaghan (Jerome), David Mazouz (Bruce) and Erin Richards (Barbra) where in this case I think she was a compliment to Harley Quinn scared the crap out of WB and they told Fox to kill him off because it was in competition with Jared Leto version of the Joker and WB probably paid more money behind David Ayer new take on the character, which is bad for business.
Thought he was pitch perfect as the Joker it will be a shame if he's dead.

shareHe's not officially dead. Hugo strange is in the show now and humor has it he's going to find a way to bring Jerome back. Maybe the side affects of it will be the green hair and pale skin
shareYour logic makes sense. In my opinion, that would have been a real waste if true, because I thought that Leto was by far the very worst thing about Suicide Squad (and they are spoiled for choice in that regard) and Monaghan was brilliant as the Jok-- I mean, Jerome Valeska.
