Carlos the Jackal

I was struck with irony a couple of days ago when I saw on IMDB that Ramirez is to play Ilyich Sanchez Ramirez "The Jackal" in an upcoming tv series.

After seeing Bourne Ultimatum in 2007, I began reading the Bourne books (which are 99% different from the movies) and Carlos the Jackal is the main adversary in 2 of the 3 books. He was Venezuelan, strongly built, and cunning. When I read I always try to picture actors in the books making it a good experience and Ramirez happened to be the Carlos I pictured. You can imagine how stunned I am.

Anyway this guy will make the perfect Carlos. The anti-Bourne anti-Bond rival. Speaks 5 languages, strong physique, Venezuelan. He's a walking Carlos.

Killing Escobar, with the director of Smokin Aces and Chris Pine... I think Ramirez will play escobar.. Sources "Oh no they didn't!" hahaha
