Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene calls concerns that Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to invade more of Europe "lies" as she continues her crusade to cut US spending to assist Ukraine defend itself against Moscow's invasion.

The Republican lawmaker recently appeared on far-right cable network Real America's Voice, during which she complained about US spending on Ukraine and claimed Mr Putin had no military ambitions beyond Ukraine.

"The whole point that we're over there in Ukraine is ridiculous," she said. "We are paying for ... a proxy war with Russia, when I've never seen Putin actually show in any detail his plans to invade Europe."

Seems she forgot Ukraine is part of Europe. The Russians are in Ukraine and show no signs of leaving or stopping their westward expansion.

No one should have any problem with her being against the wasteful spending on that war where Russia was provoked into invading by the USA.

As for beyond Ukraine, Russia will do what it feels like it has to do to protect against NATO, which went back on it's word when it crossed boarders closer to Russia which it said it would not do.

Not saying I'm on Russia's side.
Just showing how hard it is to blame them when the MSM does not show the side of the truth of the situation.

NATO has never been a threat to Russia as long as Russia didn't attack NATO. Ironically, Russia has convinced even more nations to join NATO as a defense *against* Russia by attacking Ukraine, but that's a different subject.

Putin knows NATO is not a threat to Russia but was using NATO "expansion" and "Nazism" as an excuse to conquer Ukraine in order to begin rebuilding the old Soviet Union. Putin knows now that ruling Ukraine again will be impossible, and even if he managed to take Kiev, the guerrilla war that will result from the hundreds of thousand Ukrainian insurgents trying to end the Russian infestation will bankrupt Russia. Like Afghanistan, that's a war that can never be won.

Putin is screwed. His only hope to save face in Russia is to end the war and be allowed to keep some sort of Ukraine, but Ukraine doesn't seem to be willing to give up any more territory.

I'm not objecting to her being opposed to spending money on a foriegn war. I'm objecting to her being useless in Congress and proving it with her stupid claims.

2. Marjorie Taylor Greene works for russia and only pretends to be super-patriotic

....I choose option "works for russia". Because no one can be that stupid to not understand what is happening in the world right now.

Republican party needs to make serious work on russian spies inside their own party. And kick them out or publicly distance themselves. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson constantly root for nazi russia and try to convince public that they are not dangerous and its not serious. And they do this only for one reason - they work for russia.
