Why does Hollywood keep on trying to make him happen?

It's clear at this point that audiences don't care for the guy. He isn't leading man material.

I think vacation is his first movie as a leading man, maybe cedar rapids but that was an indie flick, what do you mean exactly?

reply

The office. The hangover 2 focused more on him. Vacation reboot!

reply

Agreed! I didn't like him when he and the cast from "The Hangover" hosted funny movies on Comedy Central. Ed kept trying to take over the conversations every chance he could! It was annoying. Then they let him be a producer on "The Office" and it got to be cringeworthy and annoying.

I don't care how much he tries to force his presence on us, it's not going to work. Go away, man!

reply

He is so damned unfunny. Hopefully, now that Vacation is bombing, Hollywood will realize that people aren't interested in paying to see this unfunny "comedian".

Ed Helms is, at the same time, one lucky son of a fake Jew, and a completely talentless, humourless waste if oxygen. Ed got lucky on The Office and more so with The Hangover films but he is simply a bango playing deuche. Please die.

reply

Wow. Why so hard on a brilliant and talented entertainer? Hilarious stand up comic. Incredible musician (who has a bluegrass band and recently finished a nation wide tour), successful TV and movie projects. Humble, Intelligent and good looking.
What is there not to like?

reply

I can't stand him. He looks like a dweeb and his mere presence on screen makes me want to throw up.

reply

His movies flop and he's not funny. Maybe he needs to do serious roles but he's clearly not funny.
