New Buffverse Series?

I think Gwen's character would have been perfect to anchor a new Buffyverse series (they could have started it with Gwen and some of the slayers and added Faith, Illyria, Spike etc. as they became available). I think the Buffyverse has the spinoff potential of "Star Trek" and I hope that Joss exploits this potential in the future. I have been watching Alexa's character in the Angel repeats on TNT this week, and she did a GREAT job with Gwen's character. Anyone else think a Slayer spinoff featuring Gwen would have ROCKED.
