So, rumours a plenty about Alexa being cast as Andromeda are circuling round the net. Does anyone know of any statements etc. from the studios to confirm it? What does everyone think?
She is a great actress and loved her in Chronicles of Riddick, but Andomeda? hmm

Isn't Andromeda supposed to be really young? I mean 27's not old, (Alexa is the same age as me) but I was thinking Adnromeda was like 18 or so? I don't really think she's all that pretty. But Hollywood can do some amazing things so we'll see.
I'm trying really hard not have high expectations for this movie, as I really loved the original as a kid. Anyone else feel that way?

Not a good choice but for Hollywood she is..... Isn't Andromeda princess of Ethiopia...... Isn't Ethiopia in AFRICA..... This always happens' its what i call a "white wash of Truth" in which characters who are suppose to be of Color are made White to comfort the masses. I see nothing has changed from the middle ages where every bible character was painted as White Europeans instead of Bronzed Middle Eastern.... Hollywood with all its Liberal Crap Talk still seems to me that it has a problem with casting non-whites in roles that are truly for them and it pretty much shows what hypocrites they are.. Its like all the Ancient Times movies that has ever been released if we're not a sidekick (Juba in Gladiator), the Enemy (the Persians in 300) or portrayed as Barbarian Savages (Apacalypto) every Civalized Nation was nothing but white people i mean come on if anything it was the other way around ... Im glad i dont pay for movies.... Thank you Internet......
