What!!!

I believe Kobe Bryant is gone; I just clicked on his page here just because his forum was on the homepage. Jeez, wow, I'm completely shocked. It took about 15 years from his mainstream introduction, but Kobe grew on me. My mother was a fan (she's been gone since July 2017, but she'd be shocked and sad as well). A helicopter crash, and his daughter, along with 7 other people too? Just horrible. I know every day isn't a guarantee, but I was not expecting this news.

Fantasy basketball legend. He won many people many leagues over the years.

Kobe raped a woman in Colorado. Now i guess the metoo movement doesnt matter now???

Spam.

Your life is SPAM

reply

Spam is quite good.

reply

Instead of Spam, what about Treet (not Treat Williams, although he's done some good work)? It's a Treet!

reply

They are interchangeable.

reply

Yeah, pretty much, although I think Treet is less slimy.

reply

Interesting. I always slice and fry mine up so I've never really noticed the slime.

reply

Definitely a good idea to slice and fry; I suppose that's Spam or Treet 101. I guess I was picturing them in their canned stage.

reply

I knew what you meant :) I like to eat my Spam with baked beans and corn BTW. Cheap, simple, and very good. Oh and I also like to glaze the spam with a honey mustard that I make myself.

I've done some fun things with Ramen as well (can't get enough of that college food), like add crushed red peppers, chili powder, & bacon bits to it; it's good action for me.

reply

I like to put an egg and/or cubed tofu in my Ramen. Chili oil and/or sesame oil as well. Ramen can make for a fine meal with some additions.

reply

No doubt, Ramen is a very malleable food; that sesame oil & egg sound like a good go to me.

An allegation isn't fact. If you can get paid to go away, all you wanted was some green.

reply

Hysterical
But when it’s a fake allegation against a republican like Brett Cavanaugh it’s burn him at the stake time. You snowflake Me too movement people crack me up. It’s hands across America for Kobe but anyone else you crucify

reply

Yeah, I remember the rape allegation, but that whole thing didn't really go anywhere, she was paid off or however that went. I wasn't thrilled about it at the time (didn't care much for him to begin with back then), and it's important to be respectful to others and stay in line (no insults, ass-grabbing, crude remarks, property mutilation, discrimination, etc.; I believe that goes for any gender), but I'm wasn't going to hold whatever went down against him forever either. Besides, he's gone; fortunately for famous people their exploits live on but regular people? Well, it's like what someone said to me last October: when some people are gone, it's like they were never there at all. I still think it's a terrible thing that he isn't able to grow old, and that also goes for his daughter & 7 other people.
