Questioning catalizing events is now a crime

When some important event like a school shooting happens, nobody will dare publicly question the event because some idiots might call the families of the victims and harass them leading to that person having to pay 50 million dollars. This is not good for society. The ability to question events such as this necessary for social health. This verdict is a dangerous precedent. The victim's families should have sued the actual people harassing them, not the guy who questioned the event online. But they knew that the losers who actually harassed them didn't have any money, so they sued Jones who has money. Greed got the better of them. If you ask me shame on the families, their lawyers and the judge who handed this verdict.

No falsely accusing victims of being part of a hoax is a crime. If Jones hadn't done what he did, then the victims that you think should be ashamed for seeking justice, would not gave been subject to Jones's followers actions.

If all that happened to the families was that they suffered reputational damage and financial loss because of Jones actions, then they would still have a case against him. But you're saying they should be ashamed of sueing him after receiving actual threats from the people that Jones stirred up. It just shows you have no understanding of the law or of basic decency.

Nope claiming that something is a conspiracy is not a crime. If he is wrong, debunk him. If someone is harassing you, sue them. Being able to question things (even if you're wrong) is crucial for social wellbeing.

The so called victim's families are conspiracy enablers. Because of them, powerful people will more likely to engage in actual conspiracies. They are literally holding society back. They are scum.

Making a false claim that you know to be untrue is a crime. Inventing a conspiracy in order to convince others of it is a crime when there is no evidence to back up that you truly and innocently believed it.

Rather than perjure himself Jones admitted to knowing that his claims were false. So that blows your free speech argument. Creating lies in order to damage or incite others to do damage is not protected speech. Jones conspired to get people to harass the victims families because the reality of the tragedy they experienced undermines his political and commercial interests.

Your argument that the victims families has no right to prosecute Jones, for a crime which he has admitted but which you seem to keep ignoring, because you believe that committers of real conspiracies will go unpunished is as absurd and nonsensical as you are obviously a massive shitlicker for every right wing asshole that you encounter.

Why don't you go and live in a country where people like the victims families have no rights to prosecute people who conspire to do them harm or incite others to do them harm. Plenty of places around the world have the kind of fundamentalist religious and military regimes that don't tolerate that kind of freedom.

He must have anticipated the outcome of falsely riling up people to perceive the parents of dead children to be part of an elaborate hoax. (In fact the evidence of his business dealings and the deposition confirmed that he was counting on it.) It's enough to make servile bootlickers like you angry that the families for receiving justice after Jones admitted he was in the wrong.

Why don't you try what Jones attempted to do an claim that "a form of psychosis" causes you to cling on to this fantasy? You might get people to agree to that.

Lets say on jan 6th Donald Trump reports he is "co-ordinating the law enforcement and helping bring the disturbamnce to a close from the safty of his bunker "

Then someone else , eg Alex Jones , says on his TV show:
"Hey dont believe that you sheeple , I've got the real story what donald was actually doing at that time was hiding in his bunker with his trousers down jerking off to a picture of shirtless Putin".

Do you think that would be:
a) a healthy questioning of the reported events
b) some libellous horseshit that would have him in court pretty quick facing trumps lawyers.

(its not actually such a great example as the bullshit is less obviuosly untrue than the real case.)
