Snubbed

Her acting in American Sniper was extremely good. As in better than Roseamund Pike who got a nomination in one of the dumbest films of the year (Gone Girl.)

I would have given Sienna Miller a nom well before Rosamund Pike...much better performance. And if Sienna Miller had been in Gone Girl she would have played that role better than Pike as well.

She is getting snubbed for being good-looking apparently because American Sniper got nominated for almost everything else, but not best actress for Sienna Miller, but they probably felt bad because they didn't give anything to Gone Girl (which was terrible) so they gave a nom to Rosamund Pike instead.

Are you kidding? Her performance was aggressively average and her character was extremely unlikeable...

Granted I haven't seen Miller's performance (which I should since I adore her) but Rosamund Pike was incredible, her versatility and range was amazing

Her performance was great. I believed every moment of it

I thought she was excellent in AS, very believable, but I wouldn't give her a Best Actress Nomination, Best Supporting Actress probably but not Best Actress. I thought Pike was simply amazing in Gone Girl, she displayed so many layers with her character and effectively made me care for and fear her.

But I think Julianne Moore is a lock to win this year for Best Actress, her performance in Still Alice, which I've not seen for myself to be perfectly honest, is getting great reviews left and right.

No, if she was snubbed it was not for being good looking it was because the first time she made it in Hollywood she *beep* herself over by criticising the wrong people. She's actually staggeringly lucky to get a second chance with movies like Sniper and Foxcatcher, but she'll never get a nomination, she made sure of that a decade ago.

Ya Kirk-loving Spocksucker!
