Never heard of this actress!

But she's a FOX!

reply

She was on the show Firefly and its follow up movie Serenity(2005) opposite of Nathan Fillion.

And from then on she was an anthagonist in Stargate, atleast that's the next show I saw her in.

She has been around for quite a while.
Probably her main work has been in the science fiction genre though. That includes things like the re-imagined "V" series, various parts of the STARGATE franchise (Stargate SG-1 and more), SERENITY and FIREFLY. She has credits for 'voice work' in more sci-fi projects.
She is now in the current series GOTHAM, FLASH, and previously HOMELAND as well.

I first noticed her in the five season series LAS VEGAS. She was in one episode as one of three wives of a middle-eastern husband who was in search of a fourth, and final wife, (as allowed by their religion). During that episode it was clear someone was trying to kill the man. As it turned out, the Vegas security team in the hotel had trouble determining "why" and "who" was trying to kill the man. That was because all three of the wives were trying to kill him!

She also appeared in an 'odd' movie with as much as ten minutes of screen time, DEATH IN LOVE, but was not credited in the movie, and so was not credited for years in the IMDB as well. (She is now listed as "Beautiful woman" since her character did not have a name.) That may have been the first time she appeared without clothing, so that may have been the reason she was not credited (her choice?).

The latest movie role may be the recent DEADPOOL movie (I write this without checking her credits... which have been incomplete at least once).

Incidentally, I came here to try and find out if she did DEADPOOL before she had her most recent baby or not... (seems less than clear). Also not listed in her bio, but reported in 'traditional news media', she was reportedly pregnant by her fiance/new husband while still married to her previous husband. That is part of the reason I write about things being unclear...

Why in the world would you repeat what is in the profile for Morena for someone who is too lazy to read? Strange.

reply

If someone is an "expert" regarding IMDB, they might be able to research older versions of her profile about not being listed/credited in DEATH IN LOVE, but the spoiler about the LAS VEGAS series episode is nowhere in her profile.
Please keep in mind that there are many individuals with barely a beginner's level of competence using IMDB, as well as people whose first language is not English. IMHO, "lazy" is not a word that applies in those cases.

IMDB is not the be all and end all of information about movies, actors, and the other talents/contributions that make up movies, (and TV, etc.). It has also been known to have errors as well as omissions.

TMI:
In IMDB's current incarnation, AMAZON is paying for keeping IMDB alive on the net, and accordingly has links to its pages, listings/products and services (like streaming videos). If you have any doubt about that, or what that can mean, just try to look up a show from another network, say GOLDRUSH or BERING SEA GOLD from the Discovery Channel, or anything from the SyFy Channel. Those two, and many others, have their own internet (and social media) presences that may compete against AMAZON.

That said, much/most of the IMDB content seems to be user contributed material/info, with some oversight/moderation from individuals approved by the site owner(s). With that in mind, it is similar to Wikipedia, which uses groups/committees to update its information. So, people interested in other sources' shows/movies would be more inclined to use/visit and contribute material and info to those web sites instead of IMDB.

BTW,
That oversight in IMDB has been strengthened/enforced by having a "lock" mechanism added to areas that had been unusually frequently updated (look up 'flame wars') by individuals with differing opinions and/or tendencies toward bullying and profanities. Early incarnations of IMDB allowed 'members' to update/add much more of the IMDB material than what is presently allowed.

How did you manage to look her up if you've never heard of her?
