Was anyone really going to watch Castle without Stana?

On the Castle IMDb discussion group some said yes because they liked Nathan, but almost everyone realized it wouldn't be the same show. As for Stana I'm glad it's over, it'll allow her to do new things and, hopefully, create new characters for we her fans.

The majority of "Castle" viewers were going to keep watching - it wasn't 'beckett'. I was so looking forward to a season without that annoying stana chick & very disappointed when they cancelled it. "Castle" made this chick famous - everything she did before this were just bit parts here & there. She was annoying as hell & deserved to be fired.

She was annoying as hell & deserved to be fired.I disagree. In the last few seasons the writers did a poor job with both lead characters. No actor deserved to be fired, nor did any actor kill the show, the writers did.

Without Kate, we would have seen Richard Castle with his "babe of the week." How boring.

I would prefer this "chick" anyday and for any movie, given the current actresses in Hollywood. An actress who put among her interests archaeology, physics, literature, riding, shooting, martial arts, is genuinely caring for nature, is fluent in four languages, yes, I'd say she is not the typical Hollywood doll, bend on false pretenses and fake concerns. She possess a strong charisma and any project which she takes on after Castle, will benefit from her skills. She reminds me of a woman I used to know for the last eight years.

Fillion's ego is getting too big for the show so they have to cancel it. Everyone knows Castle is no longer the same several seasons ago. It's the relationship of Castle and Beckett that kept the show going. Now Fillion got Katic kicked out. This is his karma. Although sad for the hundreds of crew members' livehood.
