I want to see her in another Bond film

I hear you brother. Although for me it is not entirely necessary that she is from the good guys. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing her evil side. I find it capital crime however, that she is not sought after for a number of movies she could shine into.

If you have not seen it yet, you should watch her in THE LIBRARIAN: CURSE OF THE JUDAS CHALICE.

She plays a mysterious woman in New Orleans, singing in a lounge, and yes, she does her own singing! Quite well as a matter of fact. There is far more to her character as she gets involved with Noah Wiley's "Librarian' character.
The only bad part is how the movie is acted a bit over the top and comes across as being a bit "campy". But, that is part of the Librarian series of movies, with that one as the third. And yes, she does have an evil side... but no more info fom me here.




Stana also played a 'hit woman'(?) in STILETTO as I remember it...

I read somewhere she auditioned for the role of Strawberry Fields which went to Gemma Arterton. Corrine was a consolation prize? Maybe she'll try for another Bond movie, or not.

As I remember the movie, Stana only had one line, and she was sitting down when James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) was in the scene, and she seemed timid.

As far as playing that minor role goes, I believe Craig is NOT tall, and Stana is fairly tall. Add heels, and she would be too tall for Craig! Maybe that is why she didn't get a bigger role?

If time travel was possible, she would have made a far better height match with at least two of the previous actors who played James Bond. Too bad...

Yes, I remember the movie well. Actually it was the first one in which she came to my attention. Even then, unknown as she was I knew that this actress had extraordinary talent. Her evil side though was being mostly the existence of sharp pointy canine teeth in her mouth. When her character died, although understandable, as her soul craved for peace, this have seemed like such a waste of good character. She could have been invaluable now in the TV series show "The Librarians". Because who in his right mind wouldn't like a vampire like her?

Personally I think Stana Katic is used at best, when playing elaborate characters, as she is sophisticated woman, with various skills .

I deeply hope that some prudent director will invites her to some superhero series ( in which she has experience as Talia-al Ghul, as voice actor), or as an actor in the new Star Trek series. I had the wish to see her in Stargate: Universe as well, where she could have been the perfect choice for the Captain of "Destiny". But the show ended abruptly. She could also return to play Simone in "The Librarians". As we all well know the Chalice of Judas is capable of resurrecting vampires. Actually we have never seen the artifact in action, as the ritual used from Dracula was to gain his powers back, nothing else.

She is 1.75 meters tall, which is not that much, albeit being a respectable height for a woman. With her standard practice to wear shoes with 10 cm. heels she come to the far more impressive 1.85, thus being able to stand to the tall Nathan Fillion with his 1.87 m. height, without being overshadowed. Your theory, her height is hindering her from getting major roles is interesting, but I don't think it is the sole reason. I hope she will be noticed for her talents in some other good show soon.

Her height is an interesting theory. I checked IMDB and found Kurylenko at 1.74m and Arterton at 1.7m. So, Stana's 1.75m probably wasn't a serious problem. More likely she and Craig didn't click? BTW, Eva Green (Casino Royale) is 1.68m.
