Erm, it's a "grindhouse" movie, not a RSC production. Have you never watched a horror movie before?? Zoe Bell may not have an acting talent equivalent to De Niro, but I found her to be very natural and I liked her character. She might just be playing herself, but Nicholas Cage has forged a career from doing the exact same, and she seems to be a very likeable person anyway.

I agree with metal tastic. I believe she did a good job, and as said before; it is supposed to resemble a grindhouse movie, not a WB or Touchstone movie.

Zoë is amazingly nice in person and has a wonderfully wacky sense of humor. And let's see De Niro act on the hood of a car doing 80 MPH. :)

I thought she was a good actress, too. The scene in the diner was one of the longest takes I've ever seen in a movie (unless there were hidden cuts I don't know about), and you can't pull that kind of thing off without some real acting skills.

reply

She did a great job ANNOYING THE *beep* OUT OF EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Watch "El Secreto de Sus Ojos" for a longer and more involving take/scene. Or "Irreversible", where every scene is one single take (including the extremely violent scenes). Many European films involve scenes where there are limited cuts.

reply

Yeah. But none of these European movies is a grindhouse tribute/parody. So...
