Ending Explained videos on YouTube

Ever seen this guy’s videos? He makes the popular Ending Explained series of vids on YouTube.

If I see a baffling film and want some kind of explanation his 20+ minute videos are often the first to appear.

Problem is, 95% of his video runtime is just a lazy plot recap. He might throw his two cents in at the end but it’s nothing revelatory or especially insightful. Feels like a clickbait con.

It’s like those ‘reviews’ that basically recap the plot. What’s the point? Either you haven’t seen the film in which case you wouldn’t want some chump spoiling the plot, or you have in which case why the hell would you want a rundown of the plot you've already sat through?

There’s a lot of ‘filler’ in the movie discussion world.
