How can people deny climate change?

It makes no sense, the scientific consensus is unanimous and the evidence concrete, so what gives? Seems like the deniers are more driven by politics than by actual scientific research.

reply

Cuz it's total BS. There's just as much scientific evidence that debunks it as proves it. People just pick and choose what findings they want to use, just like political polls.

I generally leave the climate alarmist nonsense alone since dealing with or debating with these snowflakes is a total waste of time. However, the 13-minute audio/video below highlights pertinent climate change graphs that totally debunk every phase of the current hysteria by the left over the so-called threat that climate change poses for America and for the world in general. This video should be standard viewing in any and all schools across the nation so that the climate cultists can be exposed as the hacks that they are..

You should actually watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcBXmj1nMTQ

Galilguy's video wins.

reply

I can't answer that. It's a mystery.

reply

It is quite baffling.

reply

No, it really isn't.

reply

Oh are they mentally challenged individuals then?

reply

Your side of the debate qualifies.

We have something called science, our eyes and facts to back up the fact that the climate is changing at a much more rapid rate due to humans. It is so apparent that only the simple minded are blind to it. Stop thinking that the powerful who deny global warming have any interest in YOU. They laugh at and mock you, because they know when the shit hits the fan, they will all move underground while the rest of us will die from severe weather and the other consequences that climate change brings. YOU are not one of them, they only use you to make as much money as they can so they can obtain a spot for them and their families way underground. If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny.

Since we have less than 12 years before the Earth implodes, perhaps you should spend more time outside enjoying it instead of trolling message boards.

If the bridge fits, sit under it.

How can people deny it. Open your eyes. The weather's gone bloody mental. I'm in Ireland and it's actually sunny and hot during our summers now. Was never like that for the first 30 years of my life. We're not prepared for proper heat as practically nobody has AC. Then in the winter there's storm warnings every week. I'm not political or interested in this left or right stuff but I can tell the weather is altering dramatically and quickly. Heck I'd love to be proved wrong but it's kind of like one of disaster movies where the warnings are unheeded at the start of the movie.

reply

I live in New England, and I haven't noticed a difference in weather and temps at all in 40 years. We have mild winters, and shitty winters. We have mild summers, and disgusting summers. The worst summer I can remember is the 5 week heat wave of 1999. Holy hell that was longest heat wave ever and we dint have ACs where I was staying. We spent a lot of time at the mall hiding from the sun.

I have a question for you. Why are climate-change Believers so adamant that everyone else should believe the same thing they believe?

It's a bit like that phenomenon where recently converted Christians go around preaching to all their "unsaved" friends, and trying desperately to get them to "join the fold".

This whole climate-change thing is just the same old human-nature thing, where we have a need to make those around us conform to our beliefs, so that we believe that we're among friends and thus feel safe.

reply

I don't deny the climate changes, as we are coming out f an ice age...but I don't believe in doomsday scenarios, nor do I believe that eco-fascism and global wealth transfers are the way to keep the environment as hospitable as possible.

I'd rather burn up in my front yard than deal with climate activists.

reply

"Seems like the deniers are more driven by politics than by actual scientific research."

Maybe because the "deniers" are driven by the independent-thinking habit. It's still around, you know, thankfully.

Go eaty yer Ben and jerry's. I hate that cars and trucks are ruined by the agenda, you can't even buy a standard stishift/clutchpedal transmission due to the excuses ("oh, climate change-adaptable engines don't NEEEEED a stickshift..)
Balderdash and poppycock. I say, it's because women wants sissies to drive, so the envrionment friendly vehicles are believed to be shift-less..;)
