Weather you agree with his style or not, one thing is for sure: It'd be better than the 2009 reboot.

I'd rather he directed traffic than any more remakes, or films for that matter.

Of the Big Three, I'd say Friday would have been Rob's best fit stylistically. Halloween and Elm Street just aren't his style. It would be like Quentin Tarantino directing a kids movie or Martin Scorsese directing a Marvel movie. Or Judd Apatow adapting Shakespeare.

Friday would be a better fit, although Texas Chainsaw Massacre would be second skin.

Probably full of extremely vulgar language, trailer trash, someone in clown makeup, and his wife being a main character.
