Fantastic Actress!

She is terrific! She's so talented. She can convey so much with so little. She is able to be fall-off-the-couch hilarious with a single one of her wide-eyed, stinging glances. I remembered her first as being Susan's mother on "Seinfeld", but I am happy to see her reappear on "Big Love" as Bill's loony, batty Mormon mother Lois, who won't let the other wives near her husband, Bill's father. She steals EVERY scene she's in and is a loveable riot doing it. If this series continues to take-off, I hope to see her land an Emmy nomination, and perhaps a win. Since it seems Jeremy Piven is destined to snag one for his scene-stealing work on "Entourage", I hope she can have her turn as well. (Of course, Chloë Sevigny deserves one too, but I'd love to see Grace get if first...Let's just hope the judging panel takes consideration!)

I was thinking just these same things tonight while watching a Big Love episode on On Demand. She is really excellent. Her character is really quirky and interesting. I was just wondering if her character is big enough to get her an Emmy nomination, since she surely deserves one.

Bill Paxton has assembled a great Company of Players on Big Love and Miss
Zabriskie is so great in this series that she is simply magnificent.
