Neil's still rockin'...

...just no longer in the free world (since he obviously prefers the suppression of free speech that goes with Marxist idiotology, which Libs curiously favor).

After Neil's arrogant ultimatum, Spotify had little difficulty saying, "See ya." https://www.dailywire.com/news/just-in-spotify-to-pull-neil-young-music-after-ultimatum-letter-demanding-rogan-be-removed

reply

Spotify paid 100 million for exclusive rights to Rogan content. No way they were going to surrender that for some guy only elderly folk music fans listen to. That Young didn't realize this is just another testament to how stupid he is.

reply

A southern man don't need him around anyhow; neither does a northern man, not to mention an eastern woman or western woman.

reply

Well he is delusional lefty. And their tactic is always bulling and throwing tantrums. And then everyone usually surrenders and does what they demand. Maybe he thought that other celebrities will follow his demand and will blackmail Stotify. And then Spotify will be afraid to lose all those A-List celebs and put out Rogan.

But no other celebrity followed his tantrum. Because they love their money more. So he was left alone and Spotify threw him away like he asked. Because all those lefty celebrities dont understand that all those virtue signaling from big corporations is fake. They dont believe it. They just do it to pretend they are on heir side. But when it comes to big money - corporations will always chose money over celebrity tantrums.

That why Netflix didit cancel Chapelle and Spotify didnt cancel Rogan. Because they payed too much money for their content.

Would you happy if the latest version of Bin Laden had a Extremist talkshow podcast on spotify preaching "Death to the West!!"
That'd be fine surely , cos free speech right?

reply

Yup, that's an equivalent comparison to Joe Rogan's show (rolling my eyes).

LIEberals are Marxists at heart who believe in the one-party system -- Democrat, in America's case -- wherein the voices of opponents are not permitted, usually the voice of common sense and freedom, and especially the voice of Christians.

reply

Yup, that's an equivalent comparison
i'm talking about free speech , which you mentioned in your OP

btw , Theres a famous saying regarding free speech along the lines of
"If the best thing you can say about your position is that you are legally allowed to say it , its obviously shit"

reply

You're such a faggot

reply

No need to say that.

reply

That is a call to violence and is explicitly illegal. Pick a better example.

reply

Well I have to concede that what Joe Rogan is doing isnt illegal , just stupid, dangerous and irresponsible.

reply

Well, you are wrong. I don't think you even listen to his show. Have you ever heard of the marketplace of ideas? All ideas are put forth, and those with the most merit usually end up prevailing. You are suggesting that only one position be championed and anything contrary to that narrative be squashed. That is terrifying to me. Keep in mind, these aren't the opinions of Joe Rogan, but the opinions of his guests, who are usually on his show and are typically very highly qualified to be speaking on the topic they are discussing. (e.g. Dr. Robert Malone).

Anyway, here is *NOBEL LAUREATE* and inventor of the PCR test Kary Mullis (ie a real scientist) opining on the intellect and character of your god Anthony Fauci.

reply

Was he the doctor thats been banned from twitter (for peddling bullshit ) and had his madcap theories debunked by a large group of other doctors & scientists?

reply

No. That is NOBEL LAUREATE Kary Mullis(won a Nobel Prize for inventing the PCR test that you probably used to see if you had Covid).

Also, no one has debunked Robert Malone, who was on the team that invented the mRNA technology that is used in the Covid vaccine (and was under consideration for a Nobel Prize himself). Authoritarians trying to push the narrative deplatformed him.

You really don't understand what is going on, do you?

reply

He's always been a leftist lunatic that overestimated his own relevance.

reply

Hey, hey, my, my.

reply

Spotify didn't choose Joe Rogan over Neil Young.

Young chose to de-platform himself because a $30 billion company wisely wouldn't cede to his Leftie censorship.

reply

So Spotify isn't a private company that can do whatever they want, like Facebook and Youtube? So the rules are different for anyone who's not a leftwing nut???

reply

I don't think that Young thought for even a moment that Spotify would give in to his demands. Not one bit. But he got people talking about him, and his platform.

reply

I'm not sure if Young really thought they'd never give in. Some of these folks seem to have a very high opinion of themselves. But if he's really got a problem with sharing the same platform as Rogan, he's free to leave it without calling for a private company to censor others. If he simply wants attention, maybe have an affair with Joni or something.🤷‍♀️

reply

I took it as a publicity stunt. I mean people are talking about him.

I don't really care one way or another. Can't stand him or Rogan, but this is a lot of free publicity for Young. I'm sure he sold a bunch of his crappy songs with this.

reply

Like I said, there must be a better way to get attention. Calling for censorship is dangerous, I don't care who it is or what their reasons are.

reply

Did he really think they were gonna choose him over Joe Rogan?

reply

I just heard Milli Vanilli is threatening to sing their songs themselves if Spotify doesn't fire Joe Rogan.

reply

You’ve gotta love freedom of speech- Neil takes his music off of crappy Spotify which rips off artists and Rogan gets to keep his show. Everybody’s happy!

reply

Fuck Spotify and the Kushner that owns it. They are crashing hard and I hope they go out of business. What a stupid platform. Never used it in my life. Who pays for music, and are they Stupid?

reply

Artists deserve to get paid for the entertainment and enjoyment that you get from their work. Who pays for music? I do, and its not because I don't know how to get it for free.
