Wow. Talk about a difference of opinion. I reckon it was bland. He’s Martin Luther King in Boycott is his best. He was also between great and mesmerising in ‘Shaft’, Angels in America’, ‘Basquiat’ and ‘Cement’.

Yeah. It was an understated, superb performance.
