That being said, she completely convinced me she was a wholesome endearing old western ranch girl in Westworld. She may be messed up but she's a great actress.
You do realise "Marilyn Manson" is a persona right? He is actually a very intelligent guy who is well read and artistic.
I'm not a fan of his music, but he is clearly an interesting character.
He's also a manipulative and sadistic person, from his actions as outlined by himself in his autobiography.

Brian Warner has made a very successful career with the Manson persona, why would you think an autobiography would be any different? The more bizarre, depraved and shocking, the better for his fame and wealth. He has talent. I really enjoy some of his music, don't care for the rest, and ignore the theatrics altogether. His autobiography was just another way to remain relevant and make more money, as simple as that.
