dean winters and the character mayhem on SUPERNATURAL

everytime i see the allstate commercials with the MAYHEM character i always think of the tv show SUPERNATURAL. maybe because i think his playful malevolence would fit in perfectly on the show. i think there have been a few characters on that show that could possibly have had spin offs if they had been fleshed out a bit more and i would add the character of MAYHEM to the list based on the strengths of the commercials only. use your immagination a bit and tell me...

I agree that He is very good at playing the mischievous type, devious and aggressive but with a veneer of charm. His character on Supernatural would be great for a hunter gone rogue type persona or a seduction type demon

IMO, Supernatural is/was trash. But a living-dead version of Ryan O'Reilly (Dean's all-time-best work on Oz, the all-time-best series on TV), a character that gave birth to Mayhem, would have been a "natural" for Supernatural. The "playful malevolence" (great description) was what made Ryan the cold-blooded charmer he was. Except for his love for his brother, I don't think Ryan ever really felt anything for anybody but himself. I'd like to think Dean and Scott Winters are as close in real life as they were on Oz. (Scott doing some of the writing for that show tells me he, at least, knows what love is.)

I dont know what the hell is in there, but it weird and pissed off whatever it is!
