I need to rewatch Final Destination 3 at some point, to re-evaluate her performance and the movie as a whole.

Good call. I remember disliking the movie, as the first one was so original, then the sequel took it to new and exciting places and was more light hearted and comical with increasingly interesting deaths, then the third one was just kind of a rehash of 2, with less humor and fun characters. Then again, it’s been 12 years now (Jesus), and I had no clue who MEW was at the time; I think a rewatch is in order.

Dude tell me about it. I haven't seen it in over a decade and I too never knew about MEW at the time, she was just another actress but now I've seen a few more of her films over the years and I'm now a fan.

I've been revisiting films this past few weeks that I haven't seen in over a decade. Stuff like House of Wax (2005), A Nightmare on Elm Street (2, 4, 5, 6, 7), Friday the 13th (7, 8, 9), Psycho II.

I planning rewatches for Scream 4, A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Hellraiser 3 & 4, and I'm gonna' revisit FD3 too. Those are all films I haven't seen in >10 years as well.

Revisiting films has been a trip. Stuff like Psycho II & House of Wax were a lot better than I remembered. The same applies to the ANOES & F13 sequels which I never bothered to watch for years. Pretty much everything has went up in my estimations. The big one will be ANOES (2010), I disliked it a lot back when I first saw it but I'm starting to get the feeling I'm going to actually enjoy it now. LMAO.

I had the same thing happen about 2 years ago. I revisited Evil Dead (2013) & Drag me to Hell (2009) for the first time in 7-10 years and both shot way, way up in my estimations. It's mad what a decade can do to your opinion.

reply

Nice. Most of those you listed are pretty solid, with some exceptions in my opinion (Nightmare 2 & 6, Hellraiser 4). Maybe I could use a rewatch of the Nightmare remake, but I think the lack of Englund more than the quality of the pic will always be the problem.

I just rewatched Scream 4 in preparation for the new one, and damn is that a good movie.
