Dude is a BRILLIANT character actor.

Watch "The Office." In it Rainn Wilson plays a slightly offbeat character, Dwight Shrute to PERFECTION. Ever met anyone like Dwight Shrute before? I have. Never seen this sort of character pulled off as well as Rainn Wilson does it.

He is funny. Though, you must understand what one finds funny differs person to person. What works for you, might not work for me. Better question, rather than bashing Rainn Wilson is, who does cdz6969 think is funny?

Now I don't think Rainn Wilson is the funniest guy in the world, but in my opinion he plays the role of Dwight Shrute to PERFECTION, and gets the most out of the screentime alotted to him.

Rainn is a great actor you should watch him in different things than just the office and see his veratility. You shoul also watch him in interviews and see he is not a "naturally annoying person" like you stated.

I LOVE "The Office." It's consistently one of the funniest sit-com's on TV. And I'm all for watching Rainn Wilson versitilly on the big screen too, ie. movies. I wanna see what else this cat can do. Huge fan; I believe in his talent.
