It may have been made and never distributed. That happens occasionally. One of the most famous instances of this that I can think of is "Fireflies in the Garden". It had a big name cast, a solid script, and no reason why it shouldn't have come out immediately after post production. However it was filmed in 2007/8 but wasn't released until something like 2013/14. It had limited theatrical distribution before going straight to DVD. This was a success story, but there are many, many more stories about films that get greenlit, filmed, and then can't get a company to distribute them, even to DVD. It's very unfortunate for fans who would buy them.
