I think he is destined to play generals/mentors

He has an awesome voice that is perfect for giving speeches(the 300 films) and delivering exposition(Van Helsing)

So I think as he gets older he'll fit well into the sort of 'veteran general' or 'wise old mentor' type of roles.

Playing roles like Merlin in a King Arthur adaptation, things like that.
