"Tony's" new show......dead show filming!

Can't imagine anything much worse.

"It was announced Wednesday that Weatherly has already lined up a new starring role! He will headline the drama pilot Bull for CBS and he will be playing...DR. PHIL!

According to Variety, Weatherly joined the cast of the CBS pilot as Dr. Bull, a character who is inspired by talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw, during his days as head of one of the most prolific trial consulting services of all time. His character is described having a physicality and feral intelligence that make him magnetic to women and a bruising candor. He is the head of a company that analyzes juries to help develop defense strategies.

McGraw even co-wrote the CBS TV Studios pilot!

WOW, what do you guys think? Can you see Weatherly as Dr. Phil...we mean, "Dr. Bull." "

I thought the original movie was good. Maybe times have changed. I am not a fan of Dr. Phil.

Someone needs to pay more attention to what the cast & DP has said.

Weatherly isn't playing Dr Phil. Dr Jason Bull does trial analytics - which is what DP did prior to being a tv star. THAT is the only connection.

DP himself has stated that in watching filming Dr Bull is pretty much nothing like how he was.

I give it one season, if it's lucky! I love Michael Weatherly, but this show even sounds idiotic! It's just something else that Dr. Phil is doing to make himself look better...after all the law suites he's had! I feel this is just something to showcase himself! Michael jumped in to quick on this one! He needs to take a nice long hiatus and go back to NCIS....but mostlikely by then even NCIS will be off the air...Michael made that show! Don't get me wrong...that whole show is great but Michael just brought something great to it that was so unlike all the others! He needs to go back to NCIS and bring Ziva with him! The biggest mistake that show has made was bringing in that ditzy little no talent blonde!!! She is just not an actress! But Dr. Phil...really?! It's all about him! He claims to be so pro family and yet he does so many many things that keep him way from his family! I also can't get over the fact that Dr. Phil and associates hate pornography and the oldest son Jay marries one of the three Playboy Porn triplets!!! Now I guess the three are all saved!!!! So all in all, I think this new show, "Bull", is going to be gone sooner than we think! The whole consept sounds boring! Michael Weatherly is great, but Dr. Phil...he's just not that special as he seems to think he is!!!

The commercials I've seen for the show make it look like a series of ads for designer clothes and the people who buy them. It seems like a show about attitude and style.

From what I've heard in interviews several of the characters have attitude...But it's far deeper than just a show about fashion
