Greatest actor of all time?

Taking into account all of his awards, his huge body of work and the fact that just having his name attached to a project immediately gives the project credibility (IMHO only him, Di Caprio and maybe Daniel Day Lewis have that ability) has Waltz done enough to be in consideration for the title of Greatest Actor of All Time? If not what is left for him to do to earn it? Is it even possible to define it?

I don't think there is such thing as "the greatest actor of all time," as there are and were many other great actors as well; what about Tom Hanks? Marlon Brando? Sidney Poitier? Robert DeNiro? Michael Caine? Jack Nicholson? Laurence Olivier? But yes I agree he's one of the finest. 

Not to mention - James Stewart - Humphrey Bogart - James Cagney and Cary Grant ---

But agreed maybe the finest actor today --- right up there with Pacino - De Niro ---

waltz was amazing in inglor.bastards
and he will be remembered forever because of it,
(as nicholson for shining f.ex.)
but he hasnt played in so many us-films or high-budget-films yet
that you can say he is one of the best of all time...

though he worked already with some of the best directors today
(tarantino, polanski, gilliam).

all the austrian and german tv-productions in his oeuvre werent that great
and i am afraid, that the US-cinema doesnt have so much to offer for someone who is obviously not a native speaker...
he will be always the german speaking, austrian, sarcastic villain

think he should work with woody allen, wes anderson and the coen brothers
and than he should come back to europe to work with the great directors here...
that would be more interesting for us filmlovers
and more interesting for him as an actor

we will see
but i dont think there is a place in us-mainstream for someone like him
