I think Arrested Development had maybe the best ensemble of regular performers on television ever. Definitely up there, at least. I don't think there's a weak link among them, but if you had to choose one as the best, who would it be?
I think Jessica Walter is the best. So dry and subtley hilarious. Whenever she appears onscreen I know something great is about to happen.

shareI absolutely love her! Who says Lucielle Bluth isn't a great role model? Arrested Development was one of the most clever, funny and engaging shows on television, and Ms. Walter really gave it flair!

shareIt's a tough call because they all covered such different ground; Cross and Arnett (and to some extent, Tambor) were the hammy characters, Jason Bateman and Michael Cera handled the subtler, between-the-jokes-quips, of course Jessica played the piss-and-vinegar angle to perfection... you could go on. I would agree that it's the best ensemble cast in a network comedy. For that matter, one of the best casts in a comedy, period.
