Jessica Walter even before 'One Life to Live'

Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember Jessica Walter playing Julie Murano on CBS's soap opera "Love of Life" in the early-to-mid 1960s. Julie was the beautiful daughter of a nightclub owner who had ties to organized crime. The two main characters on "LOL" were Vanessa and Bruce Sterling. Another young person who became a Hollywood name was Christopher Reeve. He played the bad boy son of Vanessa's sister.
