Play Misty for Me

I'm watching the movie now, and Jessica Walter is so freaking crazy in this film. She's awesome. Talk about playing the perfect psycho! I really hope this movie is not remade. Don't mess with a classic thriller. Anyone else like this movie? Clint Eastwood is good in this too. Nice to see him in a non Dirty Harry role. Who am I going to get to go into that musty old clap trap?

Oh, My stars!

Jessica Walter was awesome in Misty. She literally walks away with the movie. Portraying a psychopath in such a way that you both fear and sympathize with her is quite a feat, and makes me wish they had been giving Oscars to murderous characters back then.

Check her out in Flamingo Kid, about 15 years later. She still looks fabulous, with a figure many women would kill for (no pun intended).

There, daddy, do I get a gold star?

Saw her yesterday in ''The Streets Of San Francisco''. The episode was ''Till Death Do Us Part'' the second of two she did. She played a woman on the run from The Mob. Her character was, essentially, a decent woman who, with her husband ended up way over her head in ''Family Business''. And a superb job she did, too-it proves her versatility as a performer-in one hour, she developed a well-rounded character deserving of both sympathy and admiration-light-years away from ''Evelyn Draper''. The episode has long been one of my favorites-chiefly because of her performance.

I agree with all the other posters on this point: Jessica was amazing here. Her acting was so convincing that my friend, who is a psychology professor by profession, wanted to show it to his class in order to demonstrate borderline personality disorder symptoms. I thought her role greatly influenced Sharon Stone's in Fatal Attraction . Anyone agree?

Harvard makes mistakes too, you know. Kissinger taught there.

Don't you mean Glenn Close? Sharon Stone wasn't in Fatal Attraction.
