One of the worst actors of all time.

So over-hyped and untalented. Why do people thin he was good?

I think that even Paul Walker would say that he was not the best actor. He took up acting for a variety of reasons and I think that the principal reason was financial. Frankly you don't need to be Robert DeNiro to do a Fast and Furious movie. He was a handsome guy with a hot girl who had a hot brother and they all drove hot cars all while doing new and interesting things. You don't need to be the greatest actor alive for that kind of film. Now as his career went on I think he began to take an interest in challenging himself and becoming a better actor. He did three films that showed his progress. Running Scared, Vehicle 19, and Hours showed him testing his acting chops. Running Scared was a very interesting film in many ways including Paul's performance. Vehicle 19 was not that great, but it showed Paul giving a very believable performance. Hours did the same thing. He had to go through a variety of emotions in that film. Again not the greatest, but I could see that he was taking HIS part in it seriously. If you really want to see him play against type you should watch Pawn Shop Chronicles. He's a racist, red-necked, meth-head. He is a dirty, stinky looking criminal. All I could say was 'Is this really Paul Walker?'

I'm the biggest Paul Walker fan and I just have to say he wasn't Marlon Brando. But, I've never seen him as a "bad actor". He lit up the screen every time he was allowed. It didn't matter if it was in "Running Scared" or "Timeline". He had so much charisma but little effort. He looked at acting as a job. He gave 100% in "Running Scared" and look at the result, that's the best performance of his career. People always seem to say that Paul was given bad roles, there's some truth to that but I believe that the main problem was he rarely had a passionate director. A lot of the directors he worked with just wanted the paycheck. "Running Scared", "Hours", and "Pawn Shop Chronicles" didn't get their money back at the box office, but those 3 movies had the best performances by Paul. I wish Paul was treated as an upcoming actor instead of a sexy face. Paul had it in him, he just didn't have many directors wanting it out of him.

He was hot, gorgeous and beautiful. That's all that matters. Tons of actors and actresses are outthere making movies and they suck at acting. But..we love them anyways. It's all luck. Look at Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansen, Mark Walberg. They're terrible.

Not really, if it wasn't for fast and the furious, he'd be long forgotten by now. He was good looking and like able. Hollywood likes both. Guarantee you though if the first furious flopped, he'd be making straight to DVDs schlock or went on to do something else. Plenty of bad one note actors get a big role in the movies cause they're cheap and acting isn't required because it's not the reason they're going to see the movie anyway. How many get lucky enough to star in an unknown franchise that becomes huge? Not many. FF kept Paul around. He was nearly a no name before furious 4 brought them all back into the lime light and the franchise has been on fire ever since.

He seemed like an awesome human being, real chill attitude and didn't let fame or money get into his head. I wish all actors in Hollywood were more like him. As far as talent though, he had almost none though I admit he did improve greatly from FF 1 to FF7... But when you set the bar so low, that isn't saying much lol.

Good guy, seemed like be a good friend in a bes t buddy sort of way. Thought of others and was actually on the front lines when it came to helping those in need rather than sending in a big check and announcing it to people for the glorification from the public.

What walker lacked in talent he made up for in spades in other areas and areas I feel are much more important than acting ability
