What happened to Wachowskis? Their only semi-decent most "recent" movie was like a decade ago - Vendetta - and even it paled in comparison with Matrix. Every other of their movie is either crap or overrated overhyped crap, including Matrix 2 and 3.

everything they've done in the past decade has flopped. at what point will studios stop giving them big budgets and make them prove themselves again?
shareI'd say that Cloud Atlas is the perfect example of "There is no way that this book could be put on film and become a successful movie". The book is amazing, but there's just no way to make a film with mass audience appeal out of it.
