He's a biological male.

Attaching female parts, injecting hormones and female pronouns do not make a woman. This is not my opinion, it's biology.

What did you expect to be under here?

It is her life and no one is trying to tell her how to live that life. This is a broader discussion about whether gender is a biological or social construct and whether it is truly subject to change. That it is taking place her is just because "Lilly" attempted to surgically cross that divide.

It's her life. Mind your own business

His life.

Biological fact.

No - her life

He still has male DNA, so his life.

Are you a geneticist?

Who cares? How does it affect YOUR life?

For one thing, to deny obvious physical reality and DNA is mental illness, not something to be encouraged and embraced by our learning institutions and governing authorities. For instance, a proposed law in Vermont would make taxpayers fund children’s “sex change” surgeries; you can read about it here: https://pulpitandpen.org/2019/06/25/vermont-law-would-make-taxpayers-fund-children-sex-change-surgeries/?fbclid=IwAR24enekuVjKVPXSIlIbX1WOJbCPDQao8RG8p2XT3hHd1kmZBrx2KKGFayA. When taxpayers are forced to finance the absurdities of a person’s neurosis it ceases to be an individual issue. This proposed law is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to the potential LIEberal fascism of the future.

Of course we live in a free society, so if an individual is intent on having his/her genitals mutilated in order to (supposedly) become a different gender, that’s their prerogative. While I’m against the practice for obvious reasons, what these people do with their money, time & bodies is their business. The problem arises when citizens are forced to finance and even celebrate such misguided endeavors.

Another issue surfaces when citizens are required to refer to an obvious dude with feminine pronouns at the threat of committing a “hate crime” and being legally punished, whether fines or jail time or "reeducation (i.e. brainwashing) classes."

Needless to say, when loony Lib identity politics are preached at our learning institutions as legitimate attitudes/lifestyles it negatively influences our kids, grandkids, their friends & our neighbors. In other words, this kind of lunacy can really screw them up, mentally & spiritually, with the corresponding societal domino effect.

Consider a man who claims to be “transfinancial,” which means a rich person trapped in a poor person’s body. Should taxpayers foot the bill so he can live according to his delusion? Should we purchase him a mansion, an expensive sports car and a yacht? Would it be a “hate crime” if you refused to give him money or address him as Lord Beasley?

reply

I'm so glad I asked.

reply

There's way more that it negatively affects, like doctoral care -- forcing doctors to treat (and refer to) a biological male as a female (or vice versa) and the legal repercussions if the doctor refuses to act according to the patient's delusions, i.e. mental illness.

So identity politics are far from an individual issue. There are many legit reasons why citizens who aren’t perverse Libs should care and reject this kind of social insanity. They’re not “bigots” — as loony Lefties are prone to slander (rolling my eyes) — they simply have common sense in regards to obvious reality (i.e. the way it really is).

reply

you sound like a closet case

reply

LIE-berals by their very nature love lies and so understandably have an aversion to obvious reality, i.e. the truth.

reply

Ironically they like to call others "science deniers".

You can't make that shit up.

reply

Forky has the audacity to call me a "closet case" because I don't fall in line applauding & encouraging dudes to have their sex organs mutilated and masquerade as (ugly) women. Unbelievable.

reply

YOU DONT HAVE ANY KIDS...WOMEN CAN SMELL THE IGNORANCE ON YOU.

reply

Actually ignorance is having your genitals mutilated and pretending to be someone of the opposite sex; and then having the arrogant audacity to insist that everyone must play along with your blatant delusion at the threat of a "hate crime" (rolling my eyes).

It's also ignorant to make baseless wannabe-insulting presumptions about people, which is a form of ad hominem non-argumentation.

reply

So I guess after all this the answer is no, you are not a geneticist.

reply

Are you a marine biologist?

reply

Nope, and I'm not claiming to know about marine biology.

reply

You're an absolute tool, dude.

'Ignorant' connotes somebody ignoring an issue, not addressing it. It would be 'ignorant' for them to continue living in a way they perceive to be wrong.

Doesn't matter what your perception is, you're not them and you never will be, so why not stop assuming you know better than the person going through it?

reply

Having your genitals mutilated and dressing up like a (homely) woman while having female hormones unnaturally pumped into you is not the pathway to happiness. This is obvious reality, i.e. truth. But I can understand why a person who calls himself/herself "Deceptionist" would oppose it.

reply

Who are you to say with such certainty what will or won't make somebody else happy? It's their truth, not yours. And given your willingness to throw so many stones, I'm not sure you're on this 'path to happiness' either, friend.

As for your repeated references to her looks, would you be in full support of this if she were stunningly attractive? And what about women who become men - is that less offensive to you?

reply

Who's "throwing stones"? Did I ever say either Wachowski brother should be put to death?

Nor am I "offended" since I respect people's God-given right to make their own choices and experience the ramifications thereof, whether positive or negative. Yet this doesn't mean I shouldn't point out glaring error or something totally asinine.

As far as "their truth" goes, while ultimate reality can be perceived in different ways it doesn't change that something is either true and corresponds to the truth (reality) or it's a lie or partial lie, i.e. a counterfeit. Mars either exists or it doesn't; it's either a planet or it isn't, regardless what an individual chooses to believe about it. A chosen belief that's erroneous doesn't change reality. When a man rejects his natural DNA, willingly has his sex organ chopped off, unnaturally pumps himself full of feminine hormones, pretends to be a (homely) woman and then insists that everyone deem his actions as healthy & positive otherwise they're a "bigot" guilty of a hate crime (rolling my eyes), that's a glaring LIE. On top of this, they outrageously want tax-paying citizens to fund their mentally ill desires.

Unfortunately, LIEberals love lies and are intolerant of those who speak the obvious truth and simple common sense. It's amusing that they perpetually boast of being so "tolerant." Why Sure!

As far as happiness goes, I'm just voicing the obvious which might help a confused person tempted to do what "Lilly" has foolishly done. But if you or anyone else is convinced that it's the road to true fulfillment, knock yourself out. Let me know how it works out for ya.

The "homely" thing is a joke: What's the point of (supposedly) becoming a woman when you can't at least look... okay. In other words, it's an epic fail all around.

You're welcome to the last word.

Aesthetics; what a great value system to adhere to. Screw their own personal content because you don't like it. Sounds like there's an element of misogyny to it. Unattractive woman = unworthy.

Do so love it when you guys use 'LIEberals' under the pretense that any other political perspective is, what, remotely honest!?

reply

That's not proof. We are all born with both x and y chromosomes and until the y chromosome kicks in during the development, we are both sexes. Then during the maturation process, we become male or female. But every person, male and female, has both testosterone and estrogen in their system. Men just have more testosterone and women have more estrogen.

reply

Look down between your legs; it's real simple. A lot of the confusion is due to LIE-beral propaganda/brainwashing, aka braindirtying.

I wish everyone happiness in life -- really -- but it's unlikely that it will come by having your genitals mutilated and pretending to be a member of the opposite sex.

reply

Never said I wanted to do that ... I am happy with what God gave me. But, this motivation goes back a lot further than any current politics. In fact, politics has nothing to do with it.

So if we are neither male nor female at birth, are we born without genitalia?

reply

Technically, we have both sets of genitals during the process of growing within the womb, only in microscopic size. So, for a short time we are both male and female. Until the trigger happens that causes the selection. But, in some rare cases, there are some people who are born hermaphrodites, having both a penis and a vagina.

reply

I think this is false dude. There is a genital ridge that can´t be identified up to week 7 of the fetus´ development because the sex organs haven´t developed yet . But an embryo with XY chromosomes still will develop male sex organs and those with XX will develop female, it doesn´t mean they are "both sexes at the same time" because their genitals haven´t formed yet.

reply

Faire enough. I did not mean that the genitals were fully developed. I meant that they were in the formation stage, hence the "only in microscopic size" observation. It takes that hormonal "kick" to get one to be suppressed and the other to be dominant. I have always believed that the choice for sexual identity begins like this also. From what I have read, we all start out, due to having both female and male chromosomes, to be bisexual, and as the development continues, our bodies choose whether we will be straight, gay or bisexual in our choices. That's why, for me at least, it is not a stretch to believe that some people do not feel "right" in their own bodies, and hence the sex change. I do not expect anyone to believe as I do. I was just commenting about the OP's position on the matter.

reply

True hermaphrodites happen because two male and female zygotes form one embryo, so the resulting embryo carries both xx and xy chromosomes. People that don´t feel right in their own bodies have mental problems. I believe this is part of the reason why the suicide rate is so high in the trans-community even after sex reassignment surgery.

reply

That could very well be. Like I said, they don't feel "right" in their bodies. No doubt there are mental health issues. I have also read that during sex re-assignment, the person does have to be psychologically screened. (I have also heard that some plastic surgeons require psychological counseling before agreeing to doing nip tuck work on a person.)

reply

It's almost 2 percent of the population who are born intersex, or hermaphrodites as you mentioned. That's like 1 in 60. That's not to say that all trans people are intersex, or that all intersex people are trans. They are different. It's just a much higher number of people than most people think. In a lot of intersex cases it's not even noticeable until puberty or even later in life.

reply

True hermaphrodites are 1 in 83,000. The problem with the "intersex" label is that they can include certain conditions that are common like hypospadias and triple x syndrome, that don´t necessarily mean someone is both male and female and this makes it seem like the occurrence rate is way higher than it is. This is highly misleading imo.

reply

The only reason why I included hermaphrodite in my comment is that it is an undated term and not used any more. So yeah, those more common conditions fall under the scope of intersex. I was making the comment that these conditions are quite common. If we accept that there can be physical discrepancies, why is it so difficult to understand that for 0.3 % of the population there can be a biochemical discrepancies as well.

reply

So a woman is nothing more than fake female bits, some hormones and a couple of pronouns to you? That's an insult to real women.

He is a man. Will remain so forever.

reply

Yes but why do you care so much?

reply

Because everyone else seems so caught up with them swapping genders. I'm simply stating it's biologically impossible to actually become the opposite sex.
Someone needs to take a stand and be a voice of reason in the middle of this ridiculous transgender revolution that's sweeping western society.

What did you expect to be under here?

reply

I think deep down everyone really knows that it is impossible to actually change your gender...they just don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, which is understandable, but my god, it’s absolutely mind boggling the people who say when you do this you actually become the opposite gender, like if they squeeze their eyes together and click their heels together it actually happens. No, you’re still a man. I can strap some antlers to my head and go run naked in the woods, but that doesn’t make me a deer, no matter how much I feel that way, haha. The truth is tough sometimes.

I’m not in a position to make people who do this feel bad either, so I’m not going to be constantly saying to them, “you’re really a dude”, but I’m sure the majority of people are thinking that.

These people are mentally ill, and I’m not saying that to be a mean person...it’s obvious with the high suicide rate with people who deal with this gender confusion. But it is absolutely mental illness. It doesn’t make anyone a bad person obviously, but there is definitely something wrong here.

I think a lot of liberals are being hypocritical with this issue as well, because these people who are trying to become the opposite gender are only becoming what they feel the stereotypical version of the opposite gender actually is, which liberals should have a problem with, but, hey...politics goes beyond all logic.

reply

Very interesting post sut6432. I too would never be mean or confront a transgender with nasty remarks. Man or woman, they are still human with feelings after all.

But this illness or condition makes me sad. I recently saw my first transgender person up close. I was in a store and it was almost empty. I heard two people talking in the next aisle. One was clearly a man's voice. When I went around the corner, I saw he was in a dress and black stockings with very poorly applied make-up. I'm sure you'd know what I mean. He looked like a guy going to a costume party as a woman and he had on lipstick and rouge.

This person was with a woman and later I saw them in the parking lot. I could not help but think, "How sad."

What drives a man to put on a skirt and garish make-up thinking that people will take him for a girl? There is something seriously wrong and sad going on here.

I remember reading Bruce Jenner(when he was still Bruce) saying that he wore pantyhose under his suits to feel feminine. And he couldn't wait to wear nail polish all the time.

I know women who hate pantyhose and never wear them. But they are STILL women. On the other hand, (no pun intended), I have been painting my nails since junior high but that doesn't make me female. I just like having long manicured nails.

The outer "stuff" whether it's long hair (I have that too), make-up or pantyhose don't make you a woman.

In contrast, I know women who totally eschew make-up and nail polish and have short hair to the point that it looks like a buzz cut. But they are still female.

There is definitely some mental illness at play here and to just deny it so you won't be considered politically incorrect is cowardly.

reply

I pretty much agree with you and sut.
I don't even know who this person is, I just saw it in trending and I thought uh oh!
But I'll even take it a step further and say it's demonic possession.

Many decades ago the men in white coats would be taking these people to go get help. It's so sad how they've dragged society into their fantasy and we're supposed to play along or else were are considered the one with the problem. Very wrong.

Many years ago when my nephew was maybe 4 years old, the other side of the family has a man who has been dressing up as a woman (years before my nephew was even born)...that little boy approached him and just came out and said "Are you a man or a woman???!!"
Out of the mouths of babes!! Even THEY know when something is wrong.

I know 3 people living a lie like this. I don't hate them or mock them. It deeply saddens me and I pray for them.

reply

apparently now you're caught up in it too.
