Looks nothing like Penelope Cruz

She is tall with a long slender face and masculine. The exact opposite of Penelope Cruz. Why anyone would confuse these two is odd.

reply

The same people who think Catherine Zeta Jones looks Spanish.

Paz Vega is stunning!!!!!!

reply

Not fair, I think she looks Spanish but I don't think Cruz and Vega look alike at all.

I'm Spanish, and Catherine Zeta Jones can definitely pass for Spanish. Infact, most Spanish people have lighter feature than Paz and Penelope, and Catherine. Spaniards are not brown like Mexicans; they are white.

reply

Exactly, even a black person can be Spanish. Some people just have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to race, features, ethnicity and nationality.

EXACTLY. That's what I always think when I hear people from North America referring to the Spanish. They can never have been to Spain, since most spanish are waaay less brown/native american looking than the Mexicans who are mostly "mestizo" (mixed).

I mean, I'm Swedish, and when in Spain I think most people do not look like Swedes, but they don't look Mexican either. They are somewhere in between, quite possibly closer to the Swedish looks than the "Americas hispanic" looks which in most countries are mixed waaay in favor of the South/central american indian heritage. Like 70 % Americas Indian and 15 % European and 15 % rest (mostly black slavery heritage and east asian).

It's just to look at the Spanish national football team. Like Xabi Alonso, Fernando Torres, Andrés Iniesta, Juan Mata, David Silva, Puyol, Sergio Ramos, Casillas, Piqué... They are light brown haired and could as easily be Swedish as Mexican, because very few mexicans have purely european heritage.

there are 3 races on earth(so called races because there is actually no genetic difference between the races) Caucasoid Negroid and Mongoloid Hispanic people, spanish, italian, middle eastern, Indians from India, and many other people are actually classified as Caucasian also white is not a singular shade it is many shades from a pale pinkish white to the olive skin of greeks, italians middle eastern, hispanic, etc

also Caucasoid refers to skeletal structure not skin color thats why people from india are in fact Caucasian

reply

you need to do your research because so are Mexicans, Native Americans, Middle eastern people Greek Italian etc

white is a skin color that encompasses many tones and shades from a light pinkish and pale to dark and olive skin(Latino, italian greek, middle eastern, etc etc) thats why on papers it says Non hispanic white because hispanic people still are white
