Since she got married.

Hmmm. She has a lot of screen visibility under Alexa Vega. That's why most female authors, scientists, CEOs, etc. don't take a married name if their maiden name is really famous and they need to maintain their 'brand'. I didn't even know who she was until I looked closer and realized it was Alexa Vega. Oh well. :) I'm sure audiences will get used to the new name. :D

Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.

Since she married Carlos Pena.

So I noticed Carlos Peña goes by PeñaVega too, so what, they both changed their last names to a combined, un-hyphenated version? Did they change the names legally, or are they just using PenaVega as a stagename?

I am Fire. I am...DEATH!
Well Thief, where are you? Come now, don't be shy. Step into the light!

There's no tilde over Pena. It's not pronounced Pen-ya, it's just Pena. The combining of last names in marriage is a not uncommon Hispanic tradition. The former mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, was born Antonio Villar, then he married his wife, a woman with the last name Raigosa, and they changed their last names to Villaraigosa. He's still known as Villaraigosa even long after he divorced her.

Must dash. I forgot to feed my wombat.
