I don't think that will happen because, CBS has bought the televised rights to have a new "Supergirl" series on their channel. The same writers that wrote "Flash", and "Arrow" wrote "Supergirl" and casted, former "Glee" star Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, Supergirl, Kara/Zorel in the show.
Actress, Laura Vandervoort was in an interview and discussed her return as a female villain in the CBS "Supergirl" tv series and she's playing "Indigo" an old enemy of Kara/Zorel from Krypton. She is some kind of, Brainiac type computer that was sent to prison after I guess a rebellion she started, on Krypton and she seeks revenge against Queen Alura's daughter Kara who is Supergirl on Earth.
For me she will always be the original Supergirl, and quite possibly the best.
I remember we all wanted a spinoff series for her back in the day. Fast forward 15 years later and it's pretty much too late for that.
