similarities to golden age film actress Margaret Sullavan

I find that Karine Vanasse shares some facial features and mannerisms (specifically around the mouth and eyes) with the ex-Mrs William Wyler/ex-Mrs Henry Fonda - classic film actress Margaret Sullavan ("The Shop Around The Corner").

Not that they're doppelgangers or anything, but if ever an actress was needed to portray the troubled life of Margaret Sullavan again, such as was the case for Lee Remick in 1980's "Haywire, it ought to be Karine Vanasse.

Karine Vanasse's features are somewhat reminiscent of Betsy Blair (Marty) as well.


Also Christina Ricci should play Natalie Wood and Parker Posey should play Katharine Hepburn - but that's neither here nor there.
