As the Caregiver for two elderly women, I know that people of a certain age can only get so much done with their hair. Their hair tends to be thinner and that, combined with years of bleaching, is probably why Mamie has kept the same style for the last several years.

Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!

A shorter cut would make her hair look thicker because of less weight,and be more stylish. I think she wears it long because it's glamorous,though it's harder to manage,unless it's worn up.

I think she needs a head to toe makeover. She could still look sexy without looking quite so cheap imo.
