Mamie's Latest Film

Mamie is apparantly set to appear in a comedy "Rat Race" style film in which several pairs of people race across America to win a fortune. The film is set in the 1930s and will co-star Catherine O'Hara and Danny DeVito. As of yet the film is untitled, but is set to be directed by DeVito. More info anyone?

Where did you hear this? That's thrilling news. With DeVito (and O'Hara) on board this promises to be a major film.

I would love it if it's dotted with cameos from film stars of the golden era!

I liked Catherine O'Hara in "Best in Show",
Danny Devito did a great job directing Matilda;
and I'm a huge Mamie Van Doren fan, so this really
is exeiting movie news!

This project seems promising!

Mamie seems natural to do a grand
glamorous 1930's role.

I hope as many stars from the golden age
of Hollywood who want to can join in this movie too.

Yes we need to see more of Mamie in movies. She looks sensational - though she's probably been enhanced in several ways. OK - sos she can't act her way out of a paper bag but she is a link to another time in Hollywood and I think it's shameful that Hollywood tends not to give work to people who were so much a part of its' past.
