I was in Frankfurt this weekend, and dropped by the Star Trek convention which also was in town those days.
Was able to briefly meet Karl Urban, who signed med custom Dredd BD cover. Seemed like a cool guy, and his enthusiasm for Judge Dredd was very real.
Here's to hoping a sequel gets off the ground in the not too distant future.

I did not ask him that question in particular, as he would probably have gotten fed up with it by then anyway - most of the people I saw seemed more psyched about Judge Dredd than they did Star Trek;p
I suspected that any new information regarding the Dredd sequel would come in an official talk later on (which I wasn't going to), and then find it's way online.

Thanks for the link. Wow, this now sounds a bit more promising. I really thought that nothing was happening about Dredd anymore.
Tbh, I'm not surprised that the fans are more curious about Dredd. Star Trek 2 was visually nice but to me it lacked on story, so I wasn't too excited about it.
