I saw him on a youtube video at some convention and he had what sounded like an Australian accent.It's not the first time I've been surprised to find out an actor was foreign.Simon Baker,Gary Oldman,Andrew Lincoln and recently the kid playing Norman on Bates Motel.I think the biggest surprise I got was finding out Anthony Lapaglia was Australian.

I think you know more actors from NZ, you just don't realize it. Like Russell Crowe, Marton Csokas (though his name isn't that well-known), Melanie Lynskey (Rose from Two and a Half Man), Sam Neill, Anna Paquin. Lucy Lawless who played Xena.
