I'm a fan so it's good to see her on TV again, but she can do so much better than this show. It's a shame the pilot for her own talk show didn't get picked up instead.
She can only do what is offered to her, as you stated her own talk show didn't get picked up, and she has another gig, she does the voice for one of the characters on the animated series "Archer".
She seems to like doing the talk/host format, I don't watch "The Talk", but she was the host for the series ""The Fifth Wheel" which was one of many syndicated dating series that show just how far some idiots were willing to go to one be on television and two to get a date, and that series was pretty bad, although her commentary about the daters was always pretty funny.

Its so ironic that her career started on Talk Soup now she's gone full circle doing a show called the Talk (it must be karma). More irony is the fact that Joel Mchale will have funny clips of her on the new Talk Soup.
Anyway with Halloween upon us Aisha will probably dress up as Sasquatch on those wildly funny Jack Links commercials instead perhaps Danica Patrick in those wildly sexy Go Daddy commercials. We all know Aisha goes for the funny instead of the sexy!
