Extremely Talented

Looking at the versatility of his resume, and how unbelievably well he fills the shoes of every character he portrays, I'm beginning to think Alan Tudyk might be one of the best actors alive today.

He definitely makes me watch. There are very few special talents today and I agree that Alan is one of them.

reply

Agreed. For me it was his part in "Death At A Funeral", an otherwise forgettable flick, that had me in stitches. He is one of the few on my "must watch" list.

It is my belief that Alan Tudyk is simply brilliant. He is Oscar caliber. If he were to get an Oscar bound movie I am certain he would be nominated because he is extremely talented.

All of his characters are so very different. His voices and facial expressions are versatile. I would love to see a montage of all of his characters in one clip.

Alan Tudyk is a gem and he adds something special to everything he is in.

Hopefully more people start to notice.

Long time Alan Tudyk fan,

You are so right! When I was reviewing everything he has done the thing I noticed most was the versatility! Great actor!

reply

Loved how in Wreck it Ralph he sounded just like Mr. Bubble. Ed Wynn Sr would be proud :)

I came here to see who was the actor who played the horrible, racist manager Ben Chapman in the movie 42, and I discovered that he was Wash in Firefly! He's also a bunch of other characters in all kinds of movies. Wow! What a great actor!

reply

Not only the roles that he plays in movies, but the voice over work he had done as well. Extremely versatile.

reply

He is extremely talented. He's extremely funny but also crazy good- 42 for example. He played a racist baseball coach and it was like a different person entirely.

That's the thing about the oscars- they don't look at character actors like Alan.

-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.
