I don't know what this one aspect of leftism angers me so much. I do know quite a number of people that really suffered in the lockdowns. And from the isolation it caused.

The trained medical doctors in Oregon would lose their licenses of they proved people could be treated. If they could be treated, there was no need to mandate the vaccines. As usual, follow the money. I was half dead with sepsis, and a doctor was trying to get me to agree to a vaccine. They don't even vaccinate sick animals, so why was this guy trying to get me vaccinated? Doctors got bonuses for every vaccine they gave. The hospitals got bonuses for every patient on a ventilator.
You may not like RFK, Jr. I hate his politics. But his book, The Real Anthony Fauci, was very well-researched and documented. Give it a read. When people claim the vaccine is for brainwashed individuals it's interesting how conveniently they forget that Trump recommended it. I never said he forced it but he isn't anti-vaccine.

But I don't think anti vax was ever a mainstream right wing opinion. Most people just wanted it to be their choice, and a lot of them did choose to do it. But yes, Trump is not anti vaccine, he vaccinated, as he probably should be as a 78 year old man. He also takes credit for the vaccine.

Idk. The ppl I see wearing masks most often these days are CVS employees & other retail workers. My head cannon imagines at some point they refused the vaccine and CVS said "that's your right but if you want to work here you have to wear a mask to mitigate the potential spread of Covid to our customers & employees." Wearing a mask is essentially doing what the vaccine would be doing, helping to prevent the spread.
I'm not saying this to start an argument about the efficacy of the vax just suggesting that not all people who wear masks are Dems (could be the opposite).
Also, this kid was bullied a lot. A mask is a kind of social shield. Maybe he just got used to the anonymity a face mask provided.
