When your lawyers suck so much they testify against you.

Turns out there are limits to attorney-client privilege. When your lawyer helps you commit a crime, they are no longer just a lawyer, and attorney-client privilege no longer applies.

Not only does it suck to be Trump, it sucks to be his lawyer.

reply

But but but ... He hires the best of everything. Wha happen?

reply

I think the word is out. Trump does not like to pay people when they work for him. The good lawyers like to be paid.

Other lawyers might be willing to take a risk. Perhaps these lawyers are willing to work closely with Trump and be his co-conspirator in order to keep the money coming in.

reply

Well as long as he has his moron MAGA believing his every word and donating their hard earned welfare money, he will be fine.

reply

Where on earth did you get the silly idea that most Trumpers are Welfare recipients? Just give a link to the stats, please.

reply

lol, the ignorance of the left. I guarantee that numbnuts doesn't realize that Dems are usually the ones living on the government tit.

reply

Everything that was said in this thread about #RUMP and THIS is your takeaway? Hahaha. Take it easy there, professor.

Here are the 10 states with the highest rates of food stamps:
Louisiana - 15.3%
Oregon - 15.0%
Rhode Island - 14.8%
Mississippi - 14.6%
New York - 14.3%
Alabama - 13.4%
Florida - 13.2%
Pennsylvania - 13.1%

So we got about 50% red states. But the point of my statement was that a large portion of his support are below average IQ people that have no college degree and don't make a lot of money. They are brainwashed by his grift and give him everything they can to "keep America great". And that would include their welfare checks.

reply

Do you have any idea why Oregon -- the bluest of the blue states -- would have that large of a portion of Welfare recipients? They're drug addicts. They live in tents and spend all their money on every drug Oregon's decriminalized, and that's everything from fenty through heroin to meth.

I'm not a Trumper, but those I know don't give him "everything they can" to Make America Great Again. Good grief, not in Biden's economy. Most people are doing all they can to keep body and soul together, unless they're homeless in Oregon, can eat at Blanchet House, and are considered a protected class. No, I'm talking about the working poor that Biden claims to care so much about. Not that people as consumed with hate for Trump really care about what Biden's doing to the American dream. You couldn't care less so long as Trump or anyone, really, who's remotely conservative is defeated.

You know, I hear Manchin's getting in as a spoiler. He's not going to leach people away from Trump or DeSantis. He'll be the one the disaffected Dems go for; the ones fed up with Democrats being communists with training wheels.

reply

I'm not a big Trumpfan, so I'm not going to give you one of those gushy "The best President in the history of the country" defenses. Frankly, all that kind of talk does is show the idiot typing it out has no sense of history. Neither do the idiots who say he's the worst.

But how many of us could have people devoted to looking into every nook and cranny of our lives for the last six years and either find nothing or not even be able to make the case in a state where almost everyone stays up nights hating you?

If Trump were as bad as the people who rant about him say he is, they wouldn't be having this much trouble indicting him.

reply

When Trump releases his taxes thats when they will get him.

reply

Trump did not release his tax returns. The IRS did release them to Congress though.

Are the walls closing in now?

reply

Yep! The walls are closing in on Trump. Being charged with 34 felonies pretty much guarantees that.

reply

I heard the walls are closing in.
