Without the Second Amendment, you can't have the First Amendment

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand claimed President Donald Trump failed to keep his promise after a mass shooting in Las Vegas to ban bump stocks. Trump may not have moved as quickly as Gillibrand would have liked, but Trump did enact a bump stock ban, which went into effect in March.

I was really hoping that with the GOP in control of the White House and Congress from 2016 to 2018 we would get CCW reciprocity and silencer deregulation.

Instead we get the bump stock ban which was accomplished by classifying them as contraband machine guns. That did not satisfy Trump, so he went on to push for red flag laws without due process.

As hard as Clinton and Obama pushed their anti-gun agendas, was it too much to expect that Trump could be just as vocal and pushy with a pro-gun agenda? It turns out it was too much of a bother for Trump to stick up for our rights.

Of course Trump sycophants deny that Trump banned bump stocks by making it a gun grab.

I'm neither for ar against , but just outof interest ,
where would you like the limit to be on firepower?

silencers and bumpstocks good .
what about full auto M16 type rifles?
M60s?
grenades?

No nukes, chemical or biological weapons for individuals. All of the above except for bump stocks are 100% legal for individuals at the federal level and cause few problems; leave them that way.

Bkgd checks are a good idea, as are red flag laws with due process.
