So Will gets Called out for doing what Trump Haters would've Loved

I could be wrong but all the people who hated Trump for allegedly mocking a man with a disability... they would have cheered Will on if he hit Donald.

Now they all changed their tune and are siding with CR who actually did mock someone, with a disorder, on Camera. Hate Jaeda all you want but why is it wrong for one person to do but not another? And sure he is a comedian so he gets a pass for it being his job. How convenient.

Will shouldn't have hit him regardless. But it's wrong either way. Let's be real about this.

Next year The Rock will host and I would like to see someone try and slap him

reply

Nobody is going to slap him. Because he wouldn't be up there insulting anyone.

reply

Just a reminder: making a joke.

Like roasting the guests wasn't done all the time for years now....... get a grip !

reply

Well, he won't be making any bald jokes.

I always love it when Conservatives pretend to put themselves in the place of Liberals - and when it is always something terribly negative.

I do have to admit that I was a bit disappointed when the Iraqi guy who threw his shoe at George W. Bush missed him .... twice. But also, it's a much different scenario. Will Smith got violent in the middle of a global event - for no reason - like 6 year old. Anyone who would slap Trump ... and there are probably tens to hundreds of millions had a damn good reason - like maybe their parents or grandparents died of Covid, or maybe their lost their house or apartment thanks to Trump doing nothing, and then being force shamed into it.

The difference here is that Trump physically mocked a disabled person. He used arm gestures, not just words, which targeted that person's disability. That's not an allegation, there is video proof of Trump making those arm movements.

Chris Rock made a joke about a shaved head. Was it in good taste? No. But he wasn't specifically mocking alopecia. I don't think he is getting a pass for it. Most people seem to think that they were both wrong, but since he was on the receiving end of the violence, he is given a little more slack.

Starts his post with a hypothetical.

"Now they all changed their tune and are siding with CR..."

Nope. OP extrapolates to reality when he started from a hypothetical position. This whole post is pointless.
