I had Covid, and outside of losing my sense of taste and smell for a few days, it wasn't any different than a mild cold. That is how it goes for the vast majority of people who caught Covid.

Do you know what is strange? No one seemed to catch the ordinary flu in 2020. Weird.

I'm pretty sure people didn't get the flu because so many are wearing masks, social distancing, working or going ot school remotely, etc.

I guess there is something to the masks, et al, after all.

Maybe you were just lucky, because many people have gotten it much worse, including younger people. Many people, including younger people, have had permanent cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological damage as a result of contracting Covid-19. I'll also add that one can be infected without being symptomatic.

Not true at all. Also, I voted for Joe Biden over Donald Trump, and the fact that that these Trump supporters attacked the Capitol early last month with the hopes of overturning Biden's Election as POTUS for 2020, which Biden happened to win fairly, squarely and legally, forcing various lawmakers who were in the process of certifying Biden's election to flee in terror and fear for their lives, and the fact that it resulted in several people, including a cop who was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher, being killed, was beyond disgusting, and dangerous. How anybody could support such a macabre set of events and the people who incited this, and who carried it out is beyond belief.

Come off of the baloney, tom8! BLM and Antifa had nothing to do with the Insurrection on the Capitol. I'm no fan of either Antifa or BLM, really, but what was done at the Capitol by the Proud Boys and other groups that supported Donald Trump was just as bad, if not worse.

Yeah, I find that so scary that some people don't show symptoms because you don't have any warning that you are being exposed to the virus around them, and the person that has it doesn't even know that they are spreading it!

Not necessarily, atomicx. As a matter of fact, people of all ages who contract Covid-19 who've survived, have not completely recovered. They've ended up with permanent heart, lung, and neurological problems, as a result. Even people who're 20 years old and under have become seriously ill from and died of the Covid-19. Covid-19 is a super-deadly and super-contagious illness that's even deadlier and more contagious than the seasonal flu(s) that hit us every fall and winter. A person who is asymptomatic can also spread the infection.

Are you seriously trying to educate me on this? Everything I said is absolutely true. The death rate for those who contract it is around 5%, and around 90% of those deaths are the elderly. Also, for you to say that those who contract it never fully recover makes you sound like a fool. Most persons with COVID-19 recover and return to normal health. I suggest you go to the CDC website and educate yourself.

The CDC has changed its information whenever new evidence has come out. At first, the CDC did not recommend that people wear masks when they go out in public, and social distance, but when they saw how contagious Covid-19 is, and how severe the symptoms are, they changed their minds, and said that, with the exception of children under 2 years of age, those with breathing issues, and those who can't remove or put on masks without assistance, everybody should wear masks and social distance from each other.

Fauci said masks we’re useless, Pelosi told us to go to Chinatown in SF because “the food is amazing and it is beautiful here”, Bill DeBlasio told us to travel. That “there’s nothing to worry about”, Biden didn’t want to close travel to China (I wonder why) and called President Trump “xenophobic”...... These are your people Democrats.... Just over this past weekend Chuck Schumer and Bill DeBlasio celebrated Biden’s “win”.....without face masks and social distancing in a huge crowd..... I thought there was still COVID?????
