T-rump is fuming the New York Times knows more about cyber attacks on Russia than he does
T-rump attacked the New York Times last night, calling it the 'enemy of the people' and referred to their reporting as "a virtual act of Treason" - because they reported on a plan the Pentagon never told T-rump about.
According to their report this weekend, the US is 'escalating cyber attacks on Russia's electric power grid and has placed potentially crippling malware inside the Russian system'. T-rump became enraged by this last night, calling it a 'lie' and a 'virtual act of treason', why calling all the media 'enemy of the people!'.
All this because the Pentagon was not including T-rump on the plan, as they are afraid he would tip off Russia, as he has done in the past with sensitive information. ( Trump shared highly classified information with the Russian foreign minister and Russian ambassador to the US in a White House meeting back in 2017, which was later confirmed.)
Yup - the Pentagon doesn't trust the President. Top national security officials rather talk to the NY Times than talk to T-rump about sensitive operations.
