It would be nice if Barr finds his shredded credibility and integrity somewhere in all those documents, but he'll likely be too busy using the country's intelligence apparatus for crass political purposes to find justification for Trump's paranoid conspiracy theories that everyone is out to get him.
And I can guarantee you that Barr's arguments are very blatant legal spin. The most basic and obvious you could imagine, but it kinda sounds good in press releases, and to a casual audience comes across at a good enough ratio to be useful propaganda.
But legally speaking, he showed he is willing to twist a core legal concept to deflect blame from Donald Trump, which is horrific.
Yesterday on MSNBC they discussed how the PLAN is probably to file IMPEACHMENT charges against BARR and others at the SAME TIME which will give the COURTS more PROOF they need of what's going on in regards to the OBSTRUCTION of JUSTICE CLAIMS.
Because that's also what this NEWEST DIVERSIONARY TACTIC where they try to "INVESTIGATE the INVESTIGATORS" amounts to.
Still more EFFORTS at OBSTRUCTION which is also an ABUSE of POWER.
And that's also what 2 of the ARTICLES of IMPEACHMENT contained back when TRICKY DICK got BOOTED OUT of OFFICE back in 74.
Except the Dems are too chickenshit to follow through it looks like.
